Inspired by the geometry created by 3D modelling programmes, it reflects the author's fascination with Japanese origami and the qualities of paper itself.
The shape of this collection reflects designer Bartek Mejor's fascination with Japanese origami and the lightness, fragility and translucence of porcelain. The shapes were designed with the help of modelling software and then transformed into paper prototypes. They were 'unfolded' into separate flat parts and reassembled into full-sized paper models in a way that could be compared to building a 3D jigsaw puzzle.
