Moser Crystal Paula Goblets

The art of the table: The classical style

A rose bud on a well-set table.

The immortal Paula collection came to life in 1902 and a few years later was named after Leo Moser's kind wife. The inspiration for this Moser jewel was the beloved floral motifs of French and Belgian Art Noveau. The World Exposition in Brussels (1897) and Paris (1900) also influenced its appearance.

Although Paula è already a lady of many years, her popularity has yet to fade. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and wives of Prince Charles, has è become fond of the timeless elegance of this collection of glasses.

Each piece in the Paula collection passes through dozens of hands. Thanks to the craftsmanship of Moser glassmakers, cutters, engravers and painters, the glass è remained intact over time. Although the floral décor is really derived from the French and Belgian Art Noveau era, it is perfectly suited to modern design.
