With its vivid dynamism, the Waves service creates a maritime atmosphere and enriches any table with the brilliant luster for which Meissen porcelain è famous.

It took Meissen model makers working under Sabine Wachs 3 years, from 1993 to 1996, to create this complete porcelain service, a triumph of design to usher in the new millennium.

The new 39-piece series revisits the undulating, pointed deidesign curves of classic services, reinterpreting their forms in a contemporary way. Wachs contrasts the rigid symmetry of historic designs with a lively dynamism: the movement of waves flows in varying contours and è evident on every piece in the collection.
