Waves Shaped Plates

With its lively dynamism, the Waves service creates a maritime atmosphere and enriches every table with the brilliant lustre for which Meissen porcelain is famous.

It took Meissen modellers working under Sabine Wachs three years, from 1993 to 1996, to create this complete porcelain service, a triumph of design to usher in the new millennium.

The new 39-piece series revisits the undulating, pointed curves of classic service designs, reinterpreting their forms in a contemporary way. Wachs contrasts the rigid symmetry of the historical designs with a lively dynamism: the movement of the waves flows in variable contours and is evident on every piece in the collection.

The collection is available in various versions.
