Royal Flower dinner service
Even today, the iconic 'Snowball Blossoms' are among the most outstanding artistic masterpieces of the Meissen porcelain manufactory. The exceptional quality of the manufactory's materials is what enabled master modeller Johann Joachin Kaendler to create such detailed structures as delicate porcelain blossoms in the smallest spaces as early as the 18th century, decisively marking the manufactory's artistic golden age.
In continuity with the rich craft tradition of the manufactory, this iconic decoration is reinterpreted for the first time in the purist form 'N°41'. Applied as a relief, the snowball flowers give the timeless purist desgin of the 'N°41' collection a delicate and elegant finish, as well as an exceptional level of detail and accuracy. To this day, Meissen's craftsmen are masters of the elaborate techniques required to create the 'Snowball Blossoms' filigree. Each individual flower is modelled by hand and garnished with the utmost precision and meticulousness.
The 'Snowblaas Blossoms' design, reinterpreted as a contemporary relief, gives the purist 'N°41' tableware a delicate surface structure and an elegance that brings a crisp, modern precision to any table. The 29 individual items in the collection are stackable and dishwasher-safe, in keeping with the spirit of the times.
