The Herend manufactory owes its fame to the particular beauty and uniqueness of its many hand-decorated services. The masters are always skilful in renewing the motifs of the services consisting of thousands of pieces and based on centuries-old craft traditions and adapting them to the expectations of new customers.
The decoration created in the second half of the 19th century was a creation of Fischer Mór. Pairs of birds with colourful feathers sat on branches, surrounded by butterflies and small insects. The decoration was named after the family of Baron Rotschild, who became its promoter in the late 1860s. Reference is made to the necklace on a branch, which Baroness Rotschild believed to be lost, but instead found in the garden.
Decoration available in several variations all finished with pure gold wire.
