In 1929, La Cucina Italiana was born in Milan as "a gourmet newspaper for families and gourmets".
Since then, La Cucina Italiana has been creating new, delicious recipes in its kitchens, paying great attention also to table setting and the art of receiving.
For this very reason, to celebrate the milestone of its 90th anniversary, La Cucina Italiana is launching a collection of dishes created exclusively with Geminiano Cozzi Venezia 1765: three different sets with three different decors: geometric, vegan and vintage.
Decorated in Italy
Black and white, minimalist and elegant.
The page from the first issue of the magazine and the list of members of the Tasting Committee is used to create ever-changing geometries that their rigour envelops the shapes of the porcelain.
A graphic reference to the style of the 1980s and 1990s, the service is created by mixing and superimposing drawings created in mixed media by an illustrator from the editorial staff of the time.
The cards are reproduced collage style with original notes and print marks visible to create a unique connection to the magazines of the past.
Variant produced in three colours with an antique flavour: red, green and blue.
Inspired by the cartouches that used to open each section of recipe books since 1956, they are playfully reproduced inside and beyond the edges of the porcelain, above and below the plates, thus giving the service a unique touch.
