The application of gold in pieces, defining various textures, è was used in the pocellane of Sèvres in the late 18th century. Known as "pointillé d'or" (or even "eye of partridge"), these motifs mixed gold dots with shades of blue fire, forming small circles.
The Costellation d'Or service researches these geometric motifs and modernizes them, keeping the same decorative technique.
